WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE?

At VB Designs we quote per project or package with a list of inclusions so you can see the total fixed price of your project, and provide our clients with the maximum value.

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

We hear this over and over again....graphic designers that I have dealt with in the past were so slow... they take ages to reply. We take pride in our innovative design turned around quickly. Great communication is key so we will never leave you hanging! 

Time-frames vary for different sized projects, but expect 1-3 working days as the norm for turnaround of first proof.
 

WHAT IS THE DESIGN PROCESS?

Once you are happy with your quote we will send over a deposit invoice and proposed project time-line. Once you have paid your deposit we will spend time getting to know your business, target market and objectives (based on your package inclusions) and obtain your project brief so our team has everything they need to create your masterpiece.

u will receive a proof (sometimes multiple concepts to choose from depending on your package) and we’ll refine your design until the project is approved. A progress payment may be required for larger projects (refer to T&C provided with your quote). Once your project is approved, finalised and balance invoice paid, we’ll send your files in the format indicated in your package or move to print production.

DO YOU HAVE A PAYMENT PLAN?

A deposit is required prior to starting your project. Projects under $500 require upfront payment in full. Projects over $500 attract 50% deposit, with balance due upon approval of your project. Larger projects require projects may have a progress payment as indicated in T&C accompanying the quote. We have a variety of online ways you can pay your invoice, from bank transfer to credit card or BPay (surcharges apply for credit card and BPay).

 

DO YOU HAVE IMAGES WE CAN USE?

We sure do! We will search for a variety of stock images to use in your project. These need to be purchased by us for single use and are subject to copyright and usage rules as per the stock image site. The number of images is listed in your all-inclusive quote, you can certainly purchase additional images if you wish. If you have your own images that need editing such as backgrounds removed, colour correction, our talented graphic designers can also offer image manipulation services.

Our creative team at VB Designs work with client from a range of industries and have extensive experience with both pharmaceutical graphic designs and manufacturing graphic design services.  


Our Creative Director has over 25 years experience in the pharmacy industry. We’ve been supporting pharmacies and large pharmaceutical wholesalers with graphic designs since 2009 so understand the requirements for medical and healthcare designs. 

 

We also have a number of manufacturing companies that rely on us to help them build and maintain a professional brand. They brief us monthly on their design needs which could include new product launches, product packaging, flyers, brochures or digital designs. We get to know your business and can support with all your design needs. 

 

WHAT IF WE WANT SOMETHING THAT IS NOT LISTED IN A PACKAGE?

No probs! We design a wide range of projects, and realise there are many variables to each project. Simply communicate your requirements and we can add to a package or customise a graphic design quote for you. 

 

ONCE THE PROJECT IS APPROVED WHAT WILL I RECEIVE?

You will receive the finished artwork in the file format listed on your package e.g. jpeg for a web file or a hi-res pdf for in-house print file. We can also take care of your printing needs, producing top quality printed material delivered around Australia and New Zealand. And we will deliver most products to you FREE!

 

DO WE GET WORKING FILES OF OUR PROJECT?

When a project is approved you will receive the final file required for use in the correct medium (e.g. print or web). The file type will differ depending on how it is to be used. Original working files are not supplied and this remains the IP of the designer. 

 

WHAT IF I LOSE THE FILE YOU’VE SENT ME?

Never fear, by joining our Customer Care Program, we will store and back up your artwork so you never have to worry about losing your files. Our clients enjoy peace of mind with FREE security of their artwork files. 

 

If you are not a member of our Customer Care Program, we may still have your artwork on file for a period of time, and artwork costs will apply to search and retrieve from our archives to resend to you.
